Thanks Friends

FamilyThis is my last post, but you can still reach me at sundaymovieseditor@gmail.com.

I was in a different stage of life when I started this blog, and now after almost four years of posting every Sunday, I’ve decided to spend more time with my family (and sleeping).

I want to thank all of you for reading these humorous posts, knowing full well that many of you were doing the real “humoring.” Many of you have followed my blog consistently for a long time and offered kinder words than I really deserved.

Important stuff I want to tell you:

  • I plan on keeping this blog “live” online for quite a while, and there are tons and tons and tons of movies I wanted to feature but never got to. Starting today I will be periodically adding additional movie recommendations on the category pages (they just won’t link to actual posts like all the others), so feel free to check back every now and then.
  • If you can’t tell, I like talking about Jesus Christ, religion, and particularly my own faith, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Don’t be shy about contacting me with questions about what Mormons believe or even God in general. I’ve had private conversations already with several of you, and I promise not to convert you unless I feel like it.

EasterI’ve been thinking about this for weeks, but I wanted to end this on Easter, which is the Sabbath of all Sabbaths.

I genuinely believe all of us will be happier when we do our absolute best to keep the Sabbath day holy. I still believe watching uplifting movies is a good start, but there are a whole lot of things we can do on Sundays that honor the Lord even better.

OH, SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW: I would have quit this thing a long time ago if so many of you hadn’t kept reading. Thank you, friends.

“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.” — Exodus 20:8
